The priorities of the month are to increase the number of minority health care providers, improve the quality of the social marketing around the disparity, increase the amount and improve the parameters around research and science, improve cultural responsibility of providers of minority patients and review and support policies and legislation aimed at eliminating the disparity. These priorities can be viewed in detail on the website www.nmhm.org. These goals are generic to the effort and specific to the needs of the minority community at this time.
