What is the recipe for suh lung tang?We Answered:
just made some.Suhlangtang is generally a combination of TWO different broths. One is the bone broth and one is a beef brisket broth. You mix the two and add the noodles if you like, green onions and salt as you see fit.
Bone broth
Soak beef bones well to help draw out some of the blood. (about 30 minutes) Rinse and wash well. Put in a big pot with cold water and boil - about 45 minutes. Throw this out. (this broth will be a bit dirty looking and not clean white.)
rinse bones again and then throw into pot with clean water. Many Koreans like to add their secret "boiling" ingredients here, but I generally go with a few cloves of garlic, a leek or two and an onion. BOIL BOIL BOIL. The water will boil away - so add BOILING WATER periodically to the pot to keep it full if necessary. - boil - and you will get your milky white broth. Often times you can drain off some of your broth and then add more boiling water and continue to get good milky broth.
Now - you have to make the brisket broth. Soak a good size piece of brisket in cold water to draw out the blood. While soaking, bring a bit pot of water to a boil - once the water is boiling throw in your brisket and simmer until tender. (20-25 minutes). Remover brisket from broth and wrap tightly in foil (helps it to keep shape) and set aside. You will slice this and use this as a garnish later if you wish.
Now mix your two different broths together in a pot and boil. Serve with rice and good radish kimchee with green onions and salt on the side.
IT's a VERY time consuming process, but it's not a HARD process. Good luck.

Russian Tea recipe with tang in it?We Answered:
I grew up on this stuff and make it for my kids all the time!1 container of Tang
1/3 c instant tea mix - not iced tea and not with lemon
2 t cinnamon
1/2 t cloves
1/2 c sugar
Mix all together. Add two heaping teaspoons to 1 c hot water. Enjoy!!!
NOTE: The last few times I went to the store to purchase tang I found out that they changed their recipe. They're now using sugar substitute and it does NOT taste the same. I discovered that if you purchase the store brand it works great!!! It's called Orange Instant Breakfast Drink. Make sure you get the orange BREAKFAST drink vs. kool-aid. It's not the same!!!
