Make your own Chinese Five spice powder seasoning mix using either ground or whole spices.
1 tsp. ground Szechwan pepper
1 tsp. ground star anise
1-1/4 tsp. ground fennel seeds
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper

We Answered:It is really quite good. There are a few things I picked up on, but I'm not going to do your work for you, I have plenty of my own! haha. Anyway, the things I saw were pretty minor so it shouldn't matter too much :)

If you want it chunky like the picture I would cook the steak according to the type of steak it iswith regard to the timing.
There is a recipe here that you may want to try to adapt..
