superfine sugar vs. granulated sugar? We Answered:
I think that would work, but to not worry about if it will of not make some of your own. Put however much you need in a food processor and pulse until it looks superfine. Just remember that the superfine sugar will be more compact so make just a little more than you need.Gerald Said:

Superfine sugar is granulated sugar with a finer grain. Superfine sugar is not powdered sugar. The advantage to superfine sugar is that it melts very quickly. It is often used in making cocktails because it can melt in cold water.

The recipe says 'superfine sugar', could I substitute either granulated or powdered sugar? We Answered:
Superfine sugar is also known as bar sugar (so-named for use in mixing alcoholic drinks) or baking sugar. It is granulated sugar with unusually small crystals. Sold as caster sugar or castor sugar, this is the standard type of sugar in some parts of the world.Superfine sugar crystals are easy to dissolve in cold liquids. This property also causes doughs, meringues and batters made with superfine sugar to be of a finer texture than is usually achieved with granulated sugar.
Superfine sugar is not the same as powdered sugar, confectioners' sugar, and icing sugar. A blender can be used to create a decent approximation of superfine sugar from granulated sugar. Depending on the recipe.
So put the amt of granulated sugar that it calls for in the blender for a few seconds then remeasure it out to what it says u need and use that.
