The sweet peppers are generally bigger, more apple shaped. They come in red. orange, yellow and green to my knowledge. If it's a small pointed pepper and it's red, it's a hot pepper most often. You can get peppers in any grocery store that sells produce, or this time of year at roadside stands. Don't look for sweet peppers to actually taste sweet like sugar. They just aren't hot. yes you can! shredded not diced, otherwise they won't cook thoroughly. just remember carrots are sweet... ESPECIALLY after cooked.. so don't add too many. maybe you should add chopped celery? or perhaps small diced potatoes?Tiffany Said:
