Potato Chip Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. margarine
1 egg (optional)
1 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. crushed potato chips
3 1/2-4 c. flour
2 c. chocolate chips


Method
Cream sugar and fats; add remaining ingredients, except flour and chocolate chips. Stir thoroughly. Gradually mix in flour and chocolate chips. No need to grease pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

2 To 3 (about 1 lb) Idaho -- baking potatoes
1 quart To 2 quarts peanut or -- canola oil, for fryi
-----CHIP SEASONING-----
1/2 teaspoon Pure red chile powder
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne chile powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt

Note: Idaho russet baking potatoes make the best chips, as they are high in moisture and low in sugar.
1. Peel and slice the potatoes paper-thin Soak the sliced potatoes in ice-cold water 5 minutes. (You can slice the potatoes ahead of time and hold them in water as long as 4 or 5 hours.) Drain in a salad spinner or lay flat on kitchen towels and pat dry.
2. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350 degrees. Meanwhile,
thoroughly combine all the chip seasoning ingredients in a bowl. Fry the potatoes in batches until crisp and brown. Remove with a slotted spoon or use a spoon and strainer, and drain on paper towels. 3. Transfer to a large bowl and toss chips with chip seasoning while still warm. Serving suggestions: For best results, serve immediately. Good with burgers,sandwiches, or with eggs and chorizo for breakfast or brunch. Storage: Can be stored in a cool, dry place two to three days, or up to one week in dry climates.

Man people are thick, the first two didn't even get the question. Well here you go and try using different flavored chips like sour cream an onion it'll give your chicken a ranch flavor. BBQ flavored works well too. I also put up my recipe for one made with ritz crackers, I like it better, all buttery and a lot less salt. Bon Appetit!

"Boneless chicken breasts marinated overnight, then baked in any flavored potato chips.

2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast meat
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup crushed potato chips

DIRECTIONS:
To Marinate: Put chicken breasts in a nonporous glass dish or bowl. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over chicken and season with salt and ground black pepper. Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Put potato chip crumbs in a shallow dish or bowl. Roll chicken in crumbs until well coated, then place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.

RITZ CRACKER CHICKEN

1 fryer, cut up, or chicken breast halves
3/4 stick butter, melted
Ritz crackers, crushed fine
Salt and pepper to taste

Salt and pepper chicken and dip in melted butter. Roll in crushed Ritz crackers. Place in greased baking dish and cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tender.

Layered Nacho Dip:

1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
2 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
1 (6-ounce) container avocado dip
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
1 (4.5-ounce) can chopped ripe olives, drained
2 large tomatoes, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Corn or tortilla chips

Stir together beans and seasoning mix; spread mixture into an 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Spread avocado dip and sour cream evenly over bean mixture. Sprinkle with olives and next 4 ingredients. Serve with chips.

Yield: Makes 8 cups

I hope this is what you want, I've never heard of an onion soup dip with ketchup and this is the only kind I know of

ONION SOUP DIP

1 lg. container sour cream
1 pkg. onion soup mix
Paprika

Mix thoroughly sour cream and onion soup mix. Sprinkle with paprika. Serve with potato chips or vegetable pieces
