poppy seed tea recipe?We Answered:
Well to start off I have been using "poppy seed tea" once a week for the past year or so. If you are looking at this report you're most likely curious as to how to make it and the effects of it. The recipe I am about to give you is the one I have been using for the past year, and every time, I have had effects.First thing you will need is poppy seeds preferably from bulk stores (Bulk Barn, etc) you will also need water and a little lemon juice (the little squeeze bottles shaped like lemons work well). As for the amount I would start out at around 500 - 700 grams. But you can go lower as its better to be safe then sorry. Get a pot or a bowl or something put the poppy seeds in the pot and heat up around two liters of water and then simply add the water to the poppy seeds and stir. Then add the whole thing of lemone juice. Let it sit for about 3 minutes or so and stir occasionally.
The hardest part to this is straining it. I use a funnel with a t-shirt connected to a bottle opening. Make sure the bottle is big enough to hold it all. After you have poured it all through make sure to squeeze the t-shirt really well to get out all of the tea. Thats about it. Now for the experience.
The effects begin probabely after half a liter or so is drank. Remember this can change also with the amount of seeds used. Thats what I experieced with 1200 grams so it might be different if you're using a lower dose. I know when it is kicking in when my shoulders feel heavy. It slowly gets stronger and stronger, a technique I use is to have one glass then wait half an hour to an hour and drink some more until I think I have had enough. You may not have to do this if your taking a very low dose. One word that could sum up the experience is basically feeling really content. Basically feeling focused on what ever you are doing and not giving a crap about anything else. I can still walk around fine while on this.
One thing I would like to mention though about poppy seed tea is to be careful as the potency of the seeds vary from store to store. Someone has recently died from drinking too much of this too fast. He actually overdosed on it. So keep that in mind and hopefully that will make you be more careful with this as you have to be with a lot of other drugs.

need a recipe... for PLAIN poppy seed muffins no lemon in it?We Answered:
Poppy Seed Muffins --INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/8 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 teaspoons butter, melted
DIRECTIONS
Beat together the eggs, 2 1/2 cups white sugar and vegetable oil. Add in milk, salt, baking powder, poppy seeds, vanilla, almond flavoring, and flour. Mix well.
Bake in paper lined muffin cups (filled 3/4 full or 3 small greased loaf pans) at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15-20 minutes for muffins and 50-60 minutes for loaves. The tops should be browned and a toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
Remove muffins as soon as you can while still warm/hot and dunk tops into glaze. Turn right side up and cool on a cookie rack. With loaves just pour the glaze evenly over the three loaves while still in pans. Let cool to a warm temp. and remove from pans. Yes, it is a little messy but it is really good.
To Make Glaze: In a saucepan over low heat, combine 3/4 cup sugar, orange juice, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring and 2 teaspoons melted butter. Warm in pan until the sugar is dissolved. Pour over loaf pans or dunk muffin tops into glaze when cooled to room temperature. (Omit the glaze altogether if you don't like the mess.)
