Former U.S. Reps. Gingrich and Deutsch Collaborate with NMHMF to Launch Congressional Alliance on Health Disparities
Press Conference to Kick off Programs Targeting Key Congressional Districts
Washington , DC – National Minority Health Month Foundation will launch the Congressional Leadership Alliance to Eliminate Health Disparities in collaboration with former U.S. Speaker of the House and Founder of the Center for Health Transformation Newt Gingrich and former U.S. Representative Peter Deutsch at a press conference at the National Press Club, on February 8, 2005 at 1:30 PM.
Joining the Foundation to tackle this important health crisis will be Members of Congress, community organizations, industry leaders, and health experts who will work in partnership to implement pilot programs in key Congressional Districts affected by a disproportionate prevalence of chronic diseases.
This event is open to the press and the public.
