Granulated Sugar Recipes
Granulated sugar marzipan recipes?We Answered:
Granulated sugar in marzipan would make it gritty, not exactly the texture you're looking for. You can make your own powdered sugar by placing a cup of granulated sugar in the blender for each cup of powdered sugar needed. Blend at high speed until the sugar turns to powder. Use immediately, or store in an air-tight container. To prevent caking and improve thickening ability (important when making icing), add 1-2 tablespoons of corn starch for each cup of sugar made.Bertha Said:
?????Granulated sugar????!!!?We Answered:
Generally when a recipe refers to granulated sugar they are referring to the regular white sugar that most people use. If light or dark brown sugar, or powdered/confectionery sugar is needed, the recipe will specify those as such.Good Luck!

What is a good recipe for cream cheese frosting with granulated sugar? We Answered:
I can't give amounts because I threw this together in a hurry, but I got a lot of compliments on it. Put a small amount of granulated sugar in a bowl, add a very small amount of milk, enough to make a thick paste, then add cream cheese and whip with a fork until sugar is dissolved. Fold in marshmallow fluff until it is the sweetness and texture you want. I just realized you mentioned drizzling frosting. This won't be the right consistency, but maybe it would work if you added more milk or heated it in the microwave.Russell Said:
Looking for a frosting recipe using granulated sugar instead of powder sugar? We Answered:
You sure it's flour and not corn starch? You don't even have to cook the corn starch and water, just mix...and add other ingredients...i thinkJoanne Said:
How to substitute 10x sugar for granulated sugar? We Answered:
wait a minute!! Powdered Sugar has corn starch in it and will make your sangria cloudy!!You could blend the powder sugar into water and heat, but thinking you don't want to do that.
you would sift the powder sugar into measuring cup and go cup for cup if this is what you are aiming at.
I would go ahead and use the regular granulated sugar if I didn't have Super Fine Sugar available. It is not powdered in that it doesn't have the corn starch in it, but is much finer than granulated.
