Are there any recipes out there you can make, using broken ice cream cones?

We Answered:

Marshmallow Nachos

Serves: 4
Prep Time: 4 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes

7 or 8 Waffle Cone Cookies or broken up waffle ice cream cones
4 Chocolate Chipetta Plush Puffs
4 Caramel Swirl Plush Puffs
2 Tablespoons best quality Caramel Sauce or 5 unwrapped Caramels (our absolute favorite is Béquet!)
2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons toasted Pecans

On a large platter, arrange the waffle cone cookies or pieces in pile as if they were chips for nachos. Using a pair of kitchen shears or scissors cut the chocolate and caramel marshmallows into small 1⁄4” pieces and scatter over the waffle pieces. Drizzle on the caramel sauce. If you are using unwrapped caramel, cut into small piece and scatter about. Sprinkle the chips and pecans over the top. Either using a kitchen torch or the microwave, melt and toast all of the toppings until melted and gooey. Serve warm

Pecan Ice Cream Roll

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 cup chopped pecans
6 chocolate cookies, crushed /or ice cream cones crushed
caramel or hot fudge topping
whipped cream
6 maraschino cherries, chopped

Divide ice cream into 6 equal amounts and spread into an 8"x8" square on plastic wrap. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cookie crumbs down center of ice cream. Roll up ice cream to form log shape. Freeze 1/2 hour. Pull back from plastic wrap and sprinkle each log with pecan pieces. Rewrap in plastic and freeze for two hours or overnight. Remove plastic wrap and place on serving dish. Drizzle with topping. Garnish with whipped cream and cherries. Option: one large roll can be made in lieu of 6 small rolls.

Seven Layer Sundae

1 frozen waffle, toasted
1 scoop chocolate ice cream
1 peanut butter cookie, cut in half
chocolate topping
candy sprinkles
ice cream cone crumbles
whipped cream
maraschino cherry
chocolate topping

Place toasted waffle on serving dish. Scoop ice cream onto center of toasted waffle. Insert cookie halves at an angle into ice cream. Top with chocolate topping, sprinkles and whipped cream. Garnish with cherry. Makes 1 serving.

Homemade Ice Cream Cones --

"These cones are in between a crepe and store-bought sugar cones. They're a huge hit with all my friends! If you have extras store them in an airtight container, unroll and re-crisp in a 400 degrees F oven."

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, or as needed

DIRECTIONS
Whisk together the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until frothy. Whisk in the butter, milk and vanilla. Gradually whisk in the flour and salt until smooth. The batter should be thin; you can stir in more milk if needed.
Heat a small skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush the pan lightly with oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and turn to spread out the batter into a thin circle. When the underside is golden brown, flip over and cook until golden on the other side. Remove from the pan and form into a cone while it's hot, squeezing the end to seal. Place on a wire rack to cool and harden completely. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Stoneware Cone 6 Glaze Recipes?

We Answered:

I can assume you go to a studio. The studio I go to has several books and others have a record of what has worked before

Try Ceramic Arts Daily
http://ceramicartsdaily.org/ceramic-glaz…

They will ask you to sign up for their news letter - it's free

EDIT: Ask your teacher if there is a book on glazing you can borrow. Also check the Library. Also ask for an opinion about Ceramics Arts Daily. They have a number of services that are free. My teacher recommends the site. The age range in the studio I go to is 8 to 90 years old. People mix glazes and put them on test tiles to test. Test pieces are about3 or 4 inches tall from the clay being glazed, bisque fired before the glaze is applied. The test pieces also have section of ridges to see how the glaze flows. A test batch is normally 100 grams

How do you make snow cones?

We Answered:

I love snow cones hmm yummy, in Spanish Harlem where I used to live as a kid people would make ther own carts and buy a big block of ice place it in the middle of the cart, shaved the ice with a ice shaver and along side of the cart in individual spaces they placed the bottles of fruit syrups
This cart would be held up by four small wheels, and a handle from front of the cart would make it easy for travel, I noticed that in the front of the cart was a little door where the extra fruits bottles where placed.
Hoping I ve helped or at least have given you an idea.

Melting Instructions - Soap Kettle Method
Cut clear soap brick into cubes with knife and place into Soap Kettle.

Melt soap in Soap Kettle, following manufacturer’s instructions. Do not leave Soap Kettle unattended. Caution: Melted soap is hot! Note: Soap Kettle holds a maximum of 5 lb of soap (80 cubes) – see manufacturer’s instructions!

Directions to prepare Ornaments:
You will need approximately ½ cup of melted soap to fill one of the round soap bar cavities of the soap mold. Be sure to prop the mold so that it doesn’t tip when you pour the melted soap into it.

Add a few drops of fragrance and red liquid colorant to melted soap, and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated.

Pour into the mold filling one of the cavities completely and spray lightly with rubbing alcohol to remove air bubbles.

Let soap completely cool. Once it has set, remove from mold.

Cut the red soap bar in half and place a half piece into each of the two round mold cavities pushing the pieces down and to the side of the mold.

To prepare the gold color soap for the second part of this project, you will need ½ cup of melted soap.

Add a few drops of fragrance and gold color powder into melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated.

Spray the red half pieces that are in the mold with rubbing alcohol. (This will help the layers adhere to one another.)

Slowly pour the gold colored soap along the side of the red half piece and spray with rubbing alcohol to remove air bubbles.

Let soap completely cool. Once soap has completely cooled, release from mold by applying constant, even pressure with thumbs to the backside of the mold.

Wrap each of the four bars in plastic wrap.

Take the two soap bars and place them together turning one so the colors are alternating.

Tie the two soap bars together with ribbon to create your very own Christmas soap ornament.
