We Answered:I have a really simple and good hamburger recipe that feeds alot. Its called Peco's Pasta.
1 lb. ground beef
1 box of Velveeta shells and cheese
1 can of sweet corn (drained)
1 can of Brooks chili mix (drained of any excess water)
8 oz. shredded Mexican cheese
1 green pepper (chopped)
green onions (chopped)
Brown the hamburger and drain off the grease. Make the shells and cheese as directed. Add all the ingredients to the Shells and Cheese and heat until cheese is melted.
It is really good. I always use this recipe for pot lucks. And the leftovers taste good the next day as well.

Just use the green part of the onion, sliced, and save the tiny bulb for something else, or go ahead and use it all in your scrambled egg recipe--just chop it up finely. Should be wonderful!

We Answered:Not really close at all. Leeks are a large white based mild onion. Chives are a very delicate thin green almost thread-like member of the onion family. You don't mention what you are making so it is difficult to really know.
